I see Janet Wilson's house is up for sale again. A nice little makeover (pictures on the Internet), and a quick resale. To be fair they have done a really good job and it looks totally different, just a pity that after all the work they have decided to leave our village. The bungalow was originally offered for sale for £125,000 and was ripe for refurbishment. Now it is back on the market for just under £180,000. Centre of the village, bit of space, what more could you want?
Which begs the question, how much would it cost to refurbish the old
VI. Certainly not the inflated figure offered by so called experts.
Just a bit of vision and possibly turn it into a house. Sticking point
there would be room for manoeuvre around the property but I am sure the
parish council would assist with all that space they now have
available. Would be churlish to refuse, wouldn't it?
Oh and if you want to apply for the temporary work at the Misterton Centre, the spelling mistake on the website has been rectified. Pity they didn't correct the other little inconsistencies on capitalisation at the same time.
