Lights, Camera, Action

Well there would have been only the Council have taken their toys away with a cherry picker and removed the very nice cameras installed at the old council depot.  Which I suppose means somebody is about to take up residence.  For the amount of money spent it was a bit mean taking them away although I suppose it was hidden in the small print.  I wonder if the light bulbs have been taken out of the other buildings as well.

So, we might see some action shortly.  I can see us all scanning the planning applications to see what we are going to get.  A new business would be good for the village so let's hope that's the way forward.  Regrettably I suspect that housing will win the day.

Ah well just be aware, there are sewage problems in that particular area, in fact they have their own sewage pump down at the bottom on the other side of the canal.  In fact come to think of it there is a rather smelly ditch at the last bungalow before you go under the bridge and it isn't just  stagnant water.  If it smells now, what will it be like in summer?  There again it might just be me with a delicate nose!
