Well looks like the auction is still going ahead for the old council depot so it should be interesting to see what kind of use is going to be made of the ground.
Personally I think it is a bit of an own goal selling a useful area of the village and once its gone its gone. For the amount of money they will get for it, all that would have been saved on transport costs if they got their logistics right and stopped letting bean counters rule the roost. If I managed to find the key to my own piggy bank I'd buy it myself, that's how useful I think that corner is.
Lets hope the jungle drums are banging early so we find out who shelled out sooner rather than later.

What happened to the parish councillors filling in and doing the job as in the past? Bit more cash they had no need to waste. Still it will fill in a CV for someone. I think they are looking for a handyman as well if you are interested.
