Well we know why the VI is not up for sale yet. Our parish council in their 'wisdom' have put in a bid for the old library but don't know whether the bid has been successful yet. So if that fails I can well imagine the VI will be the next for our financial bullet.
What absolute lunacy and who exactly is in charge of this lunatic decision. Who voted for and who voted against?
Well the grapevine is young yet, so we'll just have to wait for the more excruciating details to leak out slowly. Whatever the Misterton Centre costs us, and shared costs, this latest venture will be a train wreck leading to disaster.
I found this little snippet on the CPALC website, interesting.
Makes you wonder doesn't it.
Well, I have said all along that these new members of the Misterton parish council have always had a hidden agenda, even before they came into power. Now we are beginning to see the fruits of their labour. This building I believe is of a single brick construction with an asbestos room, How much money will it cost to bring it up to today's rules and regulations. I dread to think what it will cost Misterton residents.
ReplyDeleteAsk the residents, you must be joking. the only time they ask the residents is when they are forced to. They hope that no one will notice when they do these crafty underhand dealings. It's about time <
Misterton residents started to attend meetings and see what is going on. Lets hope that at the next election that new faces get on and start insisting that things are don correctly and in the framework of the Law.
