Tighter than a duck's arse

Well I've had my glass to the wall but nothing has been forthcoming about the old library or for that matter the VI.  You would have thought somebody would have been talking before now, or maybe I've been listening in the wrong places.  Perhaps we are going to get some grand announcement from on high, as if they are doing us all a favour, when actually they are looking to spend our money without prior consultation.  I know I am banging on about this, but it really annoys me when they do things without testing the water first.  I would imagine the first we will hear about it is a titbit in the Parish Magazine.  Seems a bit strange there is nothing on the Notts County Council website yet.  Just what is going on?

On another entirely different and very worthy matter. The BBC’s DIY SOS, which filmed a young Misterton family last year, will broadcast the programme on Thursday 6 March at 9.00pm. Building and filming at the Fox Covert Lane address a year ago saw an extension built for the Makings family, which tragically lost devoted wife and mother, Roxanne, in 2012 at the age of 27.
